The Beskydy Dancers are an amateur group, dedicated to learning and performing traditional folk dance from the Czech and Slovak Republics. We perform in authentic folk costumes (kroje), often accompanied by musicians from the Beskydy band. Our mission? To preserve and promote the vibrant folk dance and musical traditions of the Czech and Slovak Republics; which we do with great pride and energy.
We welcome new dancers of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Why not come along for a free taster class?
We also enjoy performing at festivals and events of all kinds. If you are interested in booking us for shows or workshops, please get in touch, giving as much information as possible.
